“Information is neither energy nor matter. It is a third, intangible entity comparable to a ‘message’ emitted by a sender … to a receiver,” – R. N. Wiener (1963), founder of cybernetics.
In the body, fields of information consisting of different densities are superimposed on one another. If these fields are working with each other harmoniously, the body is healthy—in balance. However, when the fields are out of phase, or collide, we perceive the body as diseased. Then we need to address the lack of harmony with BodyTalk.
Information operates in biological fields via electromagnetic signals. It plays an essential role in life processes and is a key factor in health of molecules, cells, tissue, and the environment.
Rupert Sheldrake, the British biologist and author of The Presence of the Past, postulates that the entire universe, from subatomic particles to the farthest galaxies, is structured and organized by a great number of fields. “Morphic fields,” a term coined by Sheldrake, are non-material regions of influence that extend infinitely in space and time. When a snowflake melts or an organism dies, its organizing field disappears, but its morphic field does not. These everlasting morphic fields are “potential organizing patterns that can appear again physically in other times and places” (Sheldrake, xviii). Morphic fields carry information and hold a memory. For example: there’s a liver field, an insulin field, a field of habit, a field of customs, and a field for a whole culture.
In BodyTalk we use these morphic fields in techniques such as cellular repair. A practitioner appears to go back into time to retrieve information from morphic fields and uses it to help repair the physiological body through RNA and DNA repair (taught in Module 3, Module 6, and Module 9 of the BodyTalk System).
The bodymind is a continuum: a sophisticated system of superimposed densities. The higher the frequency, the less the density. In Module 1, you learned that taking in a deep breath puts you in touch with the higher frequencies of your nervous system and emotions, whereas letting out a breath puts you in touch with the lower frequencies of bone. With every breath the body scans the multi-layer density of matter. Chakras, emotions, and meridians, even though they are invisible, they are part of this continuum of densities and frequencies.
If a body is healthy, all its frequencies resonate harmoniously.
The body can adjust…
... or react:
A substance “out there” always remains the same:
A person reacting to pollen:
The goal of allergy treatment is for the body to exist in harmony with its environment, neither reacting to nor lacking any substance.
We may prefer not to be exposed to something in our environment. We may go so far as to label some substances harmful or toxic. It is a constant “dance” to work with the substances in and around us.
The mirror image of a frequency acts to neutralize it. This concept is used in several types of Bioresonance therapy.
Allergy treatment seeks to neutralize our reaction to, say, chocolate. Then, if you have chocolate on your coffee table, you can take it or leave it—even let it lie there for a couple of weeks. You won’t feel that you need it to evoke feelings of comfort and bliss. It won’t bring up the emotional baggage of “I shouldn’t” or “I’m too fat already.”
This is a diagram of a body responding harmoniously to its environment, the same way a fish swims in water without recognizing it as such:
The following diagram represents a form analogous to an octave on a musical scale: the note C being played with the C an octave higher. This is harmonious. This is like the liver resonating in harmony with the colon.
